Problem
The client wanted to develop a payment solution for users who did not have access for traditional credit cards and enable them to spend cash online. At least a third of Internet users around the world do not have access to the traditional credit cards to pay with.
Solution
After understanding the client’s unique requirement, our team of experienced engineers started working on a payment gateway that will provide the necessary infrastructure that will enable our client to accept credit card payments from Web sites as well as mail order/telephone order. In other words, an online payment gateway that will virtually replace the traditional credit card swipe machine you find in the physical retail world.
The solution captured our client’s customers’ payment data and securely communicated with the appropriate financial institution to process and deposit proceeds into the client’s merchant account. The Payment Gateway also provided tools and solutions that helped protect our client’s business and their customers from fraud, secure online access to transaction records so they can track sales. Automated recurring billing automatically handles recurring billings, or “subscriptions,” to save time. To prevent online fraud and reduce the risk of chargeback’s we built basic checks into the payment gateway system.
Benefits
The project result has been great. We were not only able to build a payment gateway solution that enabled users who did not have access for traditional credit cards spend cash online, but we were able to develop a fool proof system that help prevented fraud and the risk of chargeback’s as well.
